Pocket Stratagem version 1.0 has now been launched. This version contains up to four playable modes, over 50 Stratagem codes and partial controller support.

Development
I've been having a blast since picking up Helldivers 2, but it made me realise that I am absolutely terrible at entering directional codes in the thick of battle. So I idly toyed around with throwing together a little app that I could mindlessly practice with, and then thought - why not commit a little more? With a little bit of polish, a couple of hours work (between drops, of course) and some experimenting, I'm happy to present Pocket Stratagem!

One goal I had in mind with this was to keep the actual project as tidy as possible and try to be as efficient as I could be. I had decided on a terminal style GUI which meant I could work with a handful of colours and pick an old school command-line looking font (shout-out Retro Gaming) and then get to work with the logic in the backend. All in all, I think it came together fairly nicely and it was a fun little time sink. The code could probably be better documented, tidier and more efficient but it was a step above the smaller things I've toyed around with in the past. Visually I think the project came out looking rather nice; simple, but with little bits of charm to bolster it - thank the scanlines for that.

Future content
As of right now, I've no plans to make any major changes to the game. Should there be notable issues preventing people from playing, I'll jump in and see if I can resolve them, but as for additional content - nothing in the works, but never say never. I would've liked to add full controller support and some actual accessibility options, perhaps even a simple language-select, but for the time being I think this will do for version 1.0. If I do end up updating the project, I'll try to throw in a few more codes and add some extra little bits of flair here and there  just so there's something new for everyone.

The codes in the game are not perfect, and may not reflect the in-game Helldivers codes. I sourced them from a bunch of different articles and videos online, along with some of my own research in-game. I found that there were conflicting codes in some cases so I've done my best to correct what I can, where I can. If I've missed a bunch, I may update in the future if there's enough to warrant it.
